RACHEL When I grow up I would like to have Rachel’s comedic disposition. To bring humor as a healing tool, not a weapon or silencer when discussing difficult things. Rachel has a presence in a space that fills you with high spirits. I know I will always laugh when I’m with Rachel- but it’s not because we only touch on light topics and stay with close to small talk- it’s because she has a natural ability to bring perspective in the most serious of spaces, with a well-timed over dramatic sigh or a simple statement that leaves us in stitches. I hope when I grow up I can make people feel as understood, as teary eyed from laughter, and full of new thoughts and ideas as the way I feel when I leave Rachel’s home. You are a light in such serious world. You balance intensity with light heartedness. Your yellow door is more representative of your disposition then you even know, Rachel.
