Dropped Pizza and Splattered Eggs
So I’m still in America... I was expecting to be settling into ship life off the coast of West Africa in these July days, however as we are all very weary of discussing, Covid19 has had other plans. I have this weird habit of taking photos of dropped food in city streets because there is something so tragically funny about it. I found these two from earlier this year. Im sure many can relate that life feels a little like either your pizza just fell on the ground, or you are the pizza that has been dropped on the ground. 😂 Though I’m continuing to remind myself that somehow this wasn’t unprecedented for the Lord (he didn’t just drop the pizza...) these are His mysterious (and sometimes difficult to like) plans. I’ve spent time in a sort of “photography sabbatical” after almost seven years of photographing weddings and generally running my own business full time. It’s been a season of reflection and personal development to say the least, and let’s be honest- lots of experimenting in the kitchen, Disneyplus, and Netflix. I do believe it is time to dust off the camera. I’m in Tennessee until January (as of now!), and I’m available for partnering, branding shoots, portraits, engagement sessions and some weddings/elopements. I will be keeping it slow, so there are limit dates available. I wanted to update those who didn’t know I’m still in Memphis for a while. 🍕🥚🥰
