The Honor of Wearing Every Hat
As I pulled out my box of packaging odds and ends last night, I had a little moment. I looked around, and my camera was lying next to me, my laptop sat open importing new images, my phone buzzing and making that piercing "DING", and an empty box was waiting in front of me.
I realized something I love so much about what I do: I
get
to do every aspect of my business... Even though its the hardest part as well, it makes everything just that much more meaningful. Every little note and piece of tape was placed by me - the same person that emailed you, talked with you on the phone, met with you over coffee, helped build your wedding timeline, prayed over your day, took the photos during your wedding, edited all the images, exported and organized them, and packaged it all up to send to you.

How sweet is it that the Lord has given me the challenge as well as an honor to wear all the hats of Emily Frazier Photography. I am the advertiser, secretary, accountant, boss, photographer, editor, and packager.

I know the most logical thing I could do in the future is hire people in their strengths to work for me. But right now, I am enjoying that its between me and the bride & groom. That I can go through every step of this journey with them. It really is an honor. Here comes another exciting week of meeting with brides, hearing all about the wedding planning, and brainstorming the creative possibilities of each unique wedding day. I have a really cool job, and I don't intend on giving any of the aspects to anyone this wedding season. For right now - I am learning to try my best in every hat.
