Ruchi + Arun | Wedding Reception | Curry Bowl, Memphis

I met Ruchi a few months ago at Kamrun and Musfiques’ wedding. Her and another friend, Lasaya, took me under their wing the whole week. It was my first Bengali wedding, and though they are Indian, their are many similarities in the wedding traditions. Ruchi just got married herself at the end of 2018! Her and Arun are the absolute sweetest. Because of work, they have had to live in two separate states. Arun came to celebrate Holi with Ruchi. Their first Holi together (of many to come!) <3 They invited me to their memphis wedding reception, as well as to capture some of the memories. We were all hungry after the Holi celebrations earlier in the day. It was an evening of good food, laughter, and friendships.

Just last week Ruchi got to join Arun in Philadelphia. We will miss her in Memphis, but I’m so happy for them to be together. <3
