The Welcomed. Welcoming Others.” exhibit is having its last night at Stock and Belle today. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to display this exhibit @wrmemphis and I created at @stockandbelle. I’m am overwhelmed by the support it has had the last couple weeks! Tonight, Thursday-April 18th, 4-7pm, we invite you to see the power of welcoming and learn how to welcome. World Relief will be present and excited to share stories and opportunities. Brukie Studio will have her HOPE mugs out and ready to find new homes! These images were taken on the exhibits first night up; It was surreal to see conversations sparked between friends and strangers, thoughtful pauses in front of specific prints, and personally, seeing my large prints of my photos on walls. The whole night was overwhelming to say the least. I’m honored to be a part of the conversation surrounding immigrants, refugees, and asylees. It is an important, emotional, and complex conversation, but don’t let that stop you. It starts with questions.
