Lively Carousel Wedding | Scovia + Brandon | Sudanese / American
You guys, I have been ready to share this wedding before it even happened! The whole day was so beautiful and full of life. Scovia and Brandon were troopers in the Memphis summer heat! Honestly, you could feel the love and anticipation the whole day. Scovia’s parents and little sisters came from Belgium to witness and celebrate with them! They had so many friends and family members present. One of my favorite (of many) moments was when Sound Of Refuge (Sudanese refugee singing band) filled the church with praise. Oh, and when I took Scovia’s father outside to prepare for their first look, he couldn’t stop smiling, and continued to hold a hand on his heart, “it feels it will come out of my chest!” It was such a sweet memory. At their reception, there was the first ride on the Memphis Restored Carousel with their full wedding party. I jumped on right before it started moving, and snapped about a hundred photos; It was so epic! The whole night was - that dance floor was FIRE. I have never had such a high percentage of guest on the floor all night. I’m going to stop describing the moments, and let the photos speak for themselves!!! (Vendor list at the end!)
