"Emily took more than three hours of her time to Facetime with me while I was still in Germany planning the wedding. I really felt like I was talking to a friend and didn't realize how fast the time flew by. She tried to get to know Joseph and me better through that Facetime call, and she asked so many questions to get an idea of our vision for the wedding. I felt so comfortable the whole way through.

Joseph and I were so glad we got to do the engagement shooting with her right before the wedding. We got an idea on how she works and it made us feel more comfortable in front of the camera. We had so much fun and the pictures turned out very nice.

On our wedding day, I didn't have to tell Emily anything, I actually didn't even realize when she arrived! She was right there and went straight to work. She drove me around in her car, without me asking for it, she cleaned my dress, without me asking for it, she turned on music for all of us to have fun, without me asking for it and the best thing: she captured every corner, moment, situation, second, people, food, feelings, decoration and so much more of the wedding - without me asking for it!!!!

Emily knew what I wanted to have captured, without me knowing that I wanted it and without me asking for it!All night I didn't see her, but she was like a shadow that followed me somehow all night - at least that's what the pictures tell me.

What a blessing she has to do this and capture moments so perfectly. Make a long story short, Emily is wonderful, and we are forever thankful for her and for her work.

Dankeschön Em, for being so awesome!"

Joseph caught a mirror that would have ruined the first look, so he dashed up the platform and made sure to set it down. Such a beautiful and joyful first look. Anna squeaked out, “IT HAS POCKETS!” almost immediately.

Wow, where do I start to explain my love for Anna and Joseph? They made me feel so loved. I felt their trust to allow me to be creative and call the shots the whole day. It was honestly amazing watching two families and cultures join together in marriage and celebration; everywhere you went you heard German and English. So thankful to photograph this day. Love you both! - Emily
